Natural Science - Unidad 1

Buenos días,

Os dejo los objetivos y criterios de evaluación de la unidad 1 de Natural Science:

Objetivos:

1. Distinguish between living and non-living things and recognise the basic characteristics of living things.
2. Identify the parts of a plant (roots, stem, leaves, flowers and fruit).
3. Distinguish between deciduous and perennial trees, bushes and grasses.
4. Understand the difference between herbivores, carnivores and omnivores as well as the environment in which they live.
5. Differentiate between vertebrates and invertebrates and the five vertebrate groups.
6. Promote an interest in and respect for all living things.


Contenidos:

1. Living and non-living things. Identification and differences.
2. Direct and indirect observation of plants.
3. Classification according to visible criteria, identification and description.
4. Characteristics and types of plant. How do they live.
5. Plants from the nearest natural environment.
6. Main groups of plants.
7. Interest for observation and study of plants.
8. Introduction to scientific activity.
9. Using information and communications technology to look for guided information.
10. Using different sources of information (direct sources, books)
