Natural Science - Unidad 5

Os dejo los objetivos y criterios de evaluación de la unidad 5 de Natural Science:

Objetivos:

1. Classify materials according to their origin.
2. Describe the properties of objects: origin, color, shape, buoyancy.
3. Identify changes in matter such as dissolving.
4. Recognise the three states of water (liquid, solid and gas) and the change from one to another.
5. Understand the force of gravity.
6. Differentiate between contact and non-contact forces (gravity and magnets).
7. Know the properties of sound: pitch, tone and intensity.
8. Know and apply the ‘3Rs rule’.

Contenidos:

1. Materials and their properties.
2. Introduction to the scientific method.
3. Scientific approach to essential questions; forces and magnetism.
4. The perception of sound. Noise and noise pollution.
5. Energy saving and protection of the environment.
6. Reduction, reuse and recycling of objects and substances.
7. Using different sources of information (direct sources, books).
8. Using information and communications technology to look for guided information.
9. Individual and group work.
